There was a fat caterpillar
who often looked to the sky.
He saw the clouds and had a dream
to fly someday very high!

He wanted to play with the wind.
The sky was his big love.
He wished to taste the fresh, cold air
and to see the world from above!

The other insects laughed at him
how stupid he could be.
A fat caterpillar with no wings
will never leave the tree!

Our little hero became very sad.
What if the others were right?
His only solution was to pupate
to be happy on the other side...

But then one day out of the cocoon
- several weeks passed by -
he came back in other shape
as a very beautiful butterfly!

He felt strange and saw his wings -
the sky was clear and blue.
He spread the wings for a flight,
his dream came finally true!

There was a fat caterpillar
who flies now very high.
His heart is happy and full of joy
'cause he can conquer the sky!
